Arundelpet Road
One address for the whole interior
What started in 2003 on Arundelpet Road, Guntur is now a single stop for plywood, doors, laminates, and the hardware that finishes a room. We stock our own Smart Ply boards alongside VANM Ply, Sipa Ply and Green Ply, and we're an authorised dealer for Century, Merino, Greenlam, Hettich, Häfele and a dozen more.
Where we spend the most care, though, is on the pieces that get noticed: cast-brass main door handles, pooja mandir doors carved to size, and the Julla Kadi swings that go with them.
About Sri Sankar Agencies
Two decades of building Guntur's homes, one board and one door at a time.
Arundelpet Road
How we started
Sri Sankar Agencies opened its shutters on Arundelpet Road, Guntur, in 2003 — a modest counter selling plywood and basic door hardware to local carpenters and contractors. There was no showroom wall of brands to point to yet, just a small stock of board and the handful of fittings a working carpenter needed that week.
What kept people coming back wasn't scale — it was that the stock was always there when a job needed it, and the advice was straight.
What we grew into
Twenty-three years on, that single counter has grown into a full interior materials store — plywood, block board and veneer; laminates across a dozen brands; teak, flush and veneer doors; door, cabinet and bathroom hardware; and the kitchen and wardrobe fittings that finish a modular space.
Somewhere along the way, the handle counter became a specialty of its own: pooja mandir doors carved to size, cast brass idols, and the Julla Kadi swings that hang beside them — work that's harder to find at a general hardware store, and the reason customers travel across Guntur to reach Arundelpet Road.
We grew by staying a dealer rather than becoming a manufacturer — carrying Smart Ply under our own name alongside VANM Ply, Century, Merino, Hettich and Häfele, so that whichever brand an architect specified, it was already on our shelves. That range, built up counter by counter since 2003, is what makes Sri Sankar Agencies one of Guntur's most complete interior material stores today.

Pooja mandir doors & brass, made to order
This is the counter customers travel across Guntur for — carved doors, cast idols and the swings that go with them.
Pooja mandir doors
Teak frames with a carved brass crown, pillars and lattice-work shutters — each one built to the exact opening of your mandir, not off a standard size. Elephant, peacock and lotus motifs are our most asked-for patterns, but we work from a photo too.
Idols, bells & mandir fittings
Ganesh, Lakshmi and Durga in cast brass, seated in carved archways, along with temple bells, jhallar hangings, deepam stands and the smaller brass fittings a home mandir needs.
Julla Kadi swings
Teak swings and benches hung on brass and steel Julla Kadi chains — elephant, peacock and horse motifs along the chain, built to the size of your veranda or hall.
Every handle here is available on its own, or fitted to a door we build for you

Brands we carry
We're an authorised dealer, not a manufacturer — so you get the brand your architect specified.
Two decades in, we've stayed a dealer on purpose — it means we can carry whichever plywood, laminate or hardware brand actually suits your job, and back it with our own advice rather than a single manufacturer's sales pitch.
